Where is Madden tonight?

Go Bucs.

Taking the week off to spend time with his grandchildren

Wow! Guy works 1 day a week and can't make it. I figured the cruiser must have broken down or something.

I was just looking forward in the schedule, and I see the Lions opponent in their Thanksgiving game, the Titans. Probably the best team in the league versus the worst. It's very possible that the Titans will be undefeated and the Lions will be winless by the time they play.

I'm looking forward to this game, it should be...interesting to watch. I'm a Bears fan, but it would be cool to see the Lions to end up with one win all season by handing Tennessee their only loss.

So much for Seattle helping us out. I guess I couldn't have expected them to.

Nope. I didn't really think the Bucs were gonna be good this year, but they are starting to make me think otherwise.

Enough of your foolishness.

Seriously though, I somehow never even realized the Titans had this year's Thanksgiving game. That's pretty freaking awesome!

Chances are very, very high, though, that we will not be unbeaten by then. If we are, the sky's the limit for this team.

I'm not sure I'll even watch the Colts-Titans game. It will probably get ugly in a hurry. But I guess there's a chance the Colts will decide to play good again.

If Peyton can connect on an early deep pass or two, I'll be very worried about the Titans' chances.

If we get the early lead, though, I'm going to feel good.

The Bucs better not give up a TD here. My Bucs/Rays parlay will be ruined.

Great game today for the Packers, all-around. I'd like to see the rushing YPC higher, but anytime you run the ball for over 30 times, you more than likely will have a lower YPC. Grant did his job early and often as he set up our drives by getting those tough yards.

Rodgers was great once again. The bye week is coming at a perfect time for us as Rodgers, Clifton, Woodson, and Pickett can hopefully have their nagging injuries healed and hopefully Harris and Bigby will be ready to go right away for the Tennessee game.

I'm getting more and more confident in this team. After the loss to Atlanta, we easily could have died last week and just shut it down with a depleted secondary. Kudos to McCarthy and the rest of the coaching staff for keeping this thing afloat and winning in Seattle (which is a hard thing to do no matter how bad they are) and blowing out the Colts. 4-3, tied for 1st in the division and only a game and a half out of 1st in the NFC. I really can't complain about that. I'm really hoping the Titans can beat the Colts next week so we can face them without a blemish on their record. It would be nice to be the first team to take them down this year.

No offense meant to dew, but I don't think the Titans are THAT good. They are about an 11-5/10-6 team. They have a really good defense and an adequate offense (great running game). Can they win the Super Bowl? Absolutely. But are they clearly the best team in the league? Nope. They just happen to be the last team to lose a game this year.

No offense taken, first off - I've said before we're not going undefeated and I doubt we're the best team in the AFC.

That said, going into the year we were at least a 10-6 team and likely better - after a 6-0 start I seriously doubt we finish the year 4-6. At this point, I don't see us going worse than 5-5 - considering we still have the Jets, Lions, Texans and Browns on the schedule. Surely out of the Colts twice, Jags, Packers, Bears and Steelers we can win one or two games.

I expect at this point 12-4 or at best 13-3. We'll find out exactly how good this team is after the next stretch of games, though - Colts, Packers, Bears and Jags all in a row.

Lindsey Soto (NFL Network reporter babe) just reported that Roy Williams - the safety, not the receiver - will be out for the season after breaking his arm.

Looking for a link as we speak.

ETA: Here we go.

it would have been more fitting if he were hurt for the year after picking a ball off and then getting horsecollared by an opposing wide receiver.

It would have been truly appropriate.
