I was debating going that route and saving some money this year, but with my skin seemingly made to dwell forever in a dark, dank bog I just couldn't see myself going to more than 3-4 games before getting fed up with frying each time.

Yeah. I hate the bleachers for that reason, among many others.

in case anyone was worried, PSL's are not on the table for "new" wrigley

Werd. Front row or three of the upper deck are some of my favorite seats in the park.

i hope every exciting home game the cubs play this year ends on a controversial play in the left field corner

Brant Brown does not share your hope

Tree just wants me to have a front row view from the LF bleachers.

Soooo do us new season ticket holders get access to a pre-sale on the Pearl Jam concert?

I just emailed my rep about this to confirm. There's been a season ticket holder presale for every other act, so I'm pretty confident that there will be one.

UPDATE:

She got back to me.

"We anticipate that there will be a presale offered for season ticket holders, but details (including dates) are still being worked out."

The real questions is whether or not season ticket holders have a separate presale with their own passwords or is it just one generic password for everyone that will get spread around on the Internet easily.

I understood the Season Ticket holder presale as something different than a standard Ticketmaster presale, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know how this has worked in the past?

IIRC, each season ticket holder gets an individual password that can only be used to buy 2-4 tickets to the event. Either that or it makes you enter your account number before choosing a seat.

For their part, the Cubs hope to have the night game portion of the funding plan resolved within the next month, so that time changes can be incorporated into the 2013 schedule. At 41 games, the Cubs would play half of their home schedule during the day, and half at night.

Wonder if/how this will affect the combo plan holders this season. If they are making a bunch of Friday games night games I would certainly want those tickets in my plan.

Very doubtful that there are Friday night games due to the traffic insanity of Wrigleyville on a Friday night. It was a complete disaster for the 1 Friday night concert they held last year (Roger Waters?). They may move some of the Friday games back to 3:05 to accommodate travel for the teams, however.

Any of you season ticket holders willing to part with a pair of Friday or Saturday tickets for the series at Wrigley in July (12th or 13th)?

If you don't care about actually watching the game and want to sit in the bleachers I can probably help you out.

I'll be here for the season - Section 433, Row 2, Seats 103-104. I had a chance at Row 1, but from that angle, the rail was perfectly in line with the pitch path (unless Randy Johnson was pitching to Manute Bol [God rest his soul]).

We'll be using these a few times a month (as we moved to Cincinnati the DAY AFTER we got these tickets back in December 2011). Should anyone ever need 2, look me up! Or for those in the area, come visit when we're there to toast an overpriced plastic cup.

Just a warning -- I had Row 2 as season tickets before and HATED them, switched back up to Row 4. Every idiot leans over that rail and you can't see.

Hadn't thought about people leaning over. Good point. :banghead: Worst case scenario is I move it back a bit next season, or finally make the move to lower level.

Cheers, friends!
