I'm so tired of watching Gordon stagnate the offense and dribble the ball off his foot.

but it's okay because he'll catch fire for 2 quarters in a couple weeks and make everyone talk about how explosive he is.

I just don't understand why he plays the way he does. He's going to be incredibly valuable for some team if a coach can get him to really use his skill set properly. It's pretty clear by this point in his career that he's not a creator off the dribble in terms of finishing at the rim or distributing for others. He's a shooter but he doesn't play one within the flow of the offense.

i'm just afraid that this recent good play will make pax not go for amare

I have exactly the opposite fear. I'm afraid that Paxson is under a lot of pressure to make a deal and will give up a lot, including Thomas, for Stoudamire. That will essentially take the Bulls out of the 2010 free agent running and I don't know that Rose & Stoudamire will ever be enough to win a title.

Well with a core of Rose/Deng and "potentially" Stoudemire, why would the Bulls be interested in the class of 2010? The only reason why they would be interested in that class is if Amar'e decides to leave after 2010? A little winning, Chicago being Chicago, and the Bulls showing $$$, and I see no reason for Amar'e to leave. Getting Amar'e would be a good substitute over possibly getting shut out in 2010.

But what a game by T2 and Noah.

Deng hasn't done anything in the past 2 years to convince me that he will be an integral part of the core. Those are also 3 players that are below average defensively, especially Deng.

That's the man that needs the ball in the crunch.

That's a huge comeback win for a team that's been playing pretty decent lately. As far as the Amare situation goes, I'm in the half and half camp of what Paxson's thinking right now. Part of me believes that he won't want to depart with Tyrus because of how exceptional he's played lately, but part of me also thinks that he needs to pull something to land a superstar here to make sure this team makes the playoffs.

True, but he is still basically untradeable, but still has good potential to get better. So playing with Amar'e and Rose I think will be a big boost to Deng.

Exactly. With Amare in the fold, 2010 becomes moot, as Amare was one of the main guys we realistically had a shot at. If I understand the situation correctly , what this does is makes Larry Hughes an extremely valuable trade chip as a 2010 expiring. He would actually net us something worthwhile since we will no longer be players in that class.

What a great win tonight..probably the best since the playoffs two years ago. Man I still hate Detroit...I just want to punch Rip Hamilton in the face when I see him with that stupid mask on....then maybe he would have a real excuse to wear it again....and lol at Detroit still running McDyess out there for all those minutes..it isn't 1996 anymore fella's.

That was a fun game to watch. It was fun to hear the UC echoing "Detroit Sucks" chants and it was fun to see those bastards choke. I hope the Bulls get some momentum and Stoudemire and get in the playoffs then upset somebody.

I think it's beginning to become a win/win situation for us. Either we get Amare or we keep Tyrus Thomas whose been playing well of late. I hope Pax doesn't give up Tyrus AND Noah in a deal. One or the other Kerr.
