check the score at like 11:00 - 11:30, if it appears to be worth watching I'll start from the beginning if not F the cubs.

Congrats on not being stupid like me.

It's a sick, sick joke that my coolest in-person baseball memory was being able to hang out outside the stadium, listening to the radio, during a World Series clinching game. Could see the jumbotron for replays and could see the ball in the air on fly balls. Even saw a WS homer leave the yard.

In St. Louis.

Let's start the comeback, Rich.

I'll be watching, though probably channel surfing a bit as a defense mechanism.

Last night I DVR'd it to watch the debate. After Martin's double put the Dodgers up 5-0, I watched the rest of the game on 2x speed

I have been taking a lot of incredulity from people (in-person and on NSBB) because I've been saying since late Wednesday night that we will win both games in L.A.

We will win both games in L.A. I thought that Wednesday, I thought it last night, I think it today and I will think it Saturday. And I will think it Sunday too.

This season is not over yet, Cubs. Don't play like it is and we can damn well beat these guys.

No we can't. Not even the slightest chance.

If we only lose by one, I'm declaring moral victory.

CHICAGO -- As he grabbed his suitcase and headed for the clubhouse door following the Dodgers' 10-3 pasting of the Cubs on Thursday night, Los Angeles center fielder Matt Kemp had a few words for the Wrigley Field clubhouse attendant.

"See you next year," Kemp said.

The clubhouse guy, bending over to pick up a roll of tape, clearly heard Kemp but in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way asked, "Whaaaat?"

Kemp didn't hesitate hammering his point home. "Don't start that. You heard me. We'll see you next year."

And, yeah, we're gonna shut this turd burglar up, too.

Mr. Kemp is tempting fate.

Hey, maybe we are looking for the wrong type of motivation for the Cubs...Ok boys, win the next three and she will cut the string...

I'm seriously considering not watching this game at all. I'm sure I'll weaken though...

I didn't watch Game 3 last year. Just monitor it on the internet and flip it on if something good might be happening.

Haha, you do this too?

I do this all the time. I did it last night.

I was at a friend's wedding for Game 3 last year. Every so often I'd sneak into the bar and check the score. I didn't miss anything.

I'm sure this will make a lot of people happy:

If the Cubs come back to win this series, I will not post in any game threads for the duration of the NLCS.

I refuse to give up. I just can't. I like our chances with Harden. I agree with Southsideryan, we win tomorrow, we win the series.

I think game 4 is a lot more key than tomorrow. Tomorrow, the matchup is so favorable that we had better win. Obviously, if we lose, there's no game 4, but I think game 4 will require a bit more fingers crossing than tomorrow's.

i am also thinking we win tommorow. Hey, the dodgers still have to win one game, it's not like the series is over. Let's take it game by game.

After watching the way Kuroda has owned the cubs this year, and the way Harden has struggled with his control at times. I don't know how this matchup is "so favorable"? Yet, i also think the Cubs win tommorow, but it won't be easy.

There is no matchup in this series that is as lopsided in our favor as tomorrow's.
