I believe in an organizational effect of some kind that causes the Cubs to play worse in the playoffs. Getting the wrong types of players, the field, the day games, the pressure? I don't know, but it's something.

 

We're up to being outscored 56-18 in the last 9 playoff games.

If we don't with this game, what I have learned is that Soriano can never leadoff again. He's crapped his pants in the postseason for 2 straight years in that spot.

 

I also have learned that if we don't find a left handed bat, we are going to see the same movie again next year. When Fukodome was hitting, we were pretty much unstoppable.
