IDK how the Cubs organization will face the media after tonight. I mean my god, the Cubs are like the playoff versions of the New York Mets, teams that can't handle expectations.

That meathead NY fan in your sig was probably right.

I was just thinking that...but does it matter? We'd be losing 1-0 instead of 3-0.

Has anyone considered the irony that after they switched the Cubs back to TBS they continued on with the end of the Titanic on TNT? Foretelling?

Would've been more so if they had done that for Game 1. By the time this game rolled around we had plenty of warning this would happen whereas Titanic came out of nowhere.

"Captain, we've run these channels five times in the last 25 years, and five times we've ran into an iceberg and had a horrific tragedy. Should we be nervous it might happen a sixth?"

The 2008 Cubs have nothing to do with any other Cubs team (except to some extent 2007). I'm kinda tired of hearing anything to the contrary.

Keep predicting that, keep being wrong.

Keep guaranteeing they'll win games, keep being wrong.

Does it get old being wrong so often?

The only thing that keeps me from truthfully killing myself is the Rays owning the Sox. As long as that stays on course, I'll be able to get through the winter unscathed.

I swear to geezus almighty though, I'm done spending to go to Wrigley.

It would all be so much more bearable if we didn't have to listen to these morons

Turn on Pat and Ron...I'd much rather deal with the delay than listen to possibly the worst and most inaccurate announcing team in history.

Right, as much as I hate to say it, I'm with you on the Rays thing.

Yeah, but it hurts to move. The depression has begun to spread.

The Cubs as a franchise are going to have to work really hard to get me to spend *any* money on Cubs merchandise over the next few years.

Thankfully I was too lazy to go and buy a division champs shirt. Good call.

To this day, I don't own a single piece of championship gear for any of my teams. I always wait to see what happens in the playoffs (I don't want a division champ gear for a national league champ season, for example), and what happens in the playoffs always kills my desire to buy any gear at all.
