Is it just me, or does it sound like Dick Stockton doesn't care how well Harden is pitching and is just waiting for us to lose.

Well, I'm pretty sure he doesn't care about baseball aside from the paycheck aspect, and he probably isn't being paid by the game.

He's talked about getting a double play twice even though there were two outs and he thought DeWitt was Fontenot

.793 ops vs rhp

.807 vs lhp

And how do we split that up into, say, upper-quartile and lower-quartile RHP?

you made the claim, do it yourself

Oh look, a favored team that won four playoff games before losing. Totally comparable.

my point was that Lou was there manager too. and it was more a joke.

Gotcha. This is some leftover angst from talking to my Cards-fan friend who couldn't wrap his head around 7 playoff appearances since 1990 (all of which saw at least two wins) isn't comparable to 4 with 3 sweeps and 1 epic heartbreak.

I didn't make a claim. I brought up a theory. I didn't say "This is exactly how it is." And then I was just commenting that your stat didn't address the theory.

My time warp in getting plays with Pat and Ron on one computer, a proxy server TBS video muted on another, and this thread, is hurting my brain.

I apologize for my ridiculous guarantee. I didn't realize Hiroki Kuroda was the Asian equivalent of Jesus freaking Christ.

Since when did TBS become Comedy Central?

I like how they think their shows are funny. Tyler Perry and Frank Caliendo have a show. That's really bad.
