Gotta go hit the sack. Before I do I like to say the following:

 

I am tired of this [expletive]. I'm sick and [expletive] tired of this [expletive]. I'm [expletive] tired of losing. I did not spend more than $1000 this year in tickets to [expletive] around. Now you may be cool with this, but I'm not. Now I am gonna [expletive] guarantee you, that if we don't play out there Saturday night like you'll be banned from baseball if you lose again, you aren't gonna believe the next one hundred [expletive] years. Now I am not flying to LA on Saturday to get my ass beat again. Now you better [expletive] understand this right now. This is absolute [expletive] [expletive]. I'll [expletive] chase you assholes down. I mean I'll [expletive] run you down, you'll think the last two nights at Wrigley were a [expletive] picnic. I had to sit around for the last 35 [expletive] years and I don't have the heart to be put in this [expletive] position again. Now, you better get your head out of your ass or you will [expletive] pay for it like you can't [expletive] believe.

Lets take a look at the Dodgers success: subtract a bunch of useless old guys-Nomar, Kent, Andruw Jones, Pierre, Brad Penny-replace with some nice young players-Kemp, Ethiere, Loney, Billingsly, and one really goofd old guy, in Manny, and voila.

I know it sucks to lose the first 2 games of the playoffs, but there is no need to ban people from your board for saying that Zambrano has seen his best days already due to arm abuse. I'll say the same exact thing about Sheets and Sabathia because it is the truth. Sad that the forum mods are that obsessive about things on the cub board.

 

Had he said that about three weeks ago in General Baseball, no one would have thought anything of it.

 

Saying it in the middle of a contentious game thread full of pissed off Cubs fan is generally a bad idea.

Yeah, tell them that CC was a playoff choker in their game thread today and I guarantee you would have been banned.

All joke trade proposals aside, if we were willing to mortgae the farm system one guy we could have a legit shot at is Hanley Ramirez.

We couuld offer them everyone in our farm system and it probably wouldn't be accepted
