So Gallardo is seriously starting tomorrow?

Wait, wait...Seriously?

MILWAUKEE -- In one breath, acting Brewers manager Dale Sveum says he is "very optimistic" that Ben Sheets will start one of the team's remaining regular season games. In the next breath, Sveum said it would take a "minor miracle."

Sheets' fuzzy future aside, Sveum and pitching coach Mike Maddux have settled on a starting rotation for the remainder of the season. Sveum said Wednesday that right-hander Yovani Gallardo will start Thursday's series finale against the Pirates, Gallardo's first outing since undergoing right knee surgery in May. Jeff Suppan will start Friday's opener against the Cubs, followed by either Sheets or Dave Bush on short rest Saturday. Sveum could then use CC Sabathia for a third consecutive short-rest start on Sunday, but only if that game remains relevant to Milwaukee's postseason hopes.

So Im flippimg back and forth with the Sox game, and there was some disputed call at 2nd where a Twin was safe, and Hawk felt he was out, and ever since, hawk wont shut up about how awful the umpiring is in baseball. Thank God for Len and Bob.

The umpiring isn't as bad as getting swept to a team who was 2.5 games behind with 6 games left to play. And Z forgot how to throw strikes again.

I belive this is the post Red Flash was looking for. Other guy said that the Twins werent that good.

Hey, wait when did I say the Twins were bad, I was making fun of the Sox on a potential choke.

I mentioned that the Twins were not all that good, as someone mentioned they've got two great hitters surrounded by a bunch of bad to average hitters. There's something about that blasted dome though.

Sorry -- too lazy to look these up:

Who owns the Division tiebreaker between the Phillies and Mets, and where and when is the potential WC tiebreak game between Mets/Brewers or Phillies/Breweres?

You may have noticed it's a faux baseball field.

Oh man, Ronny is gonna hear about it from Lou

Lou is the moron that put the bunt on in the first place.

That doesn't excuse the terrible bunt.
