Don't swear, people.

Seriously, are people really upset?

Not that the game matters, but I'm upset when our "ace" cannot find the strike zone, and it would be kinda nice to help the brewers get into the wild card.

It is annoying that he isn't throwing strikes but for all we know he is throwing like it's spring training.

Uhh what? Is that why he's going nuts on the mound?

Wha? Spring Training. What the heck our you talking about??!?!

Well, for the Cubs this is about as meaningful as one.

It could be worse than the current Big Z dilemma.

We could be relying on Javier Vasquez to pitch us into the playoffs.

I'm more concerned with the lack of offense.

You can't be serious.

Argh I'm so upset with the lack of offense in a meaningless game and some starters missing

As meaningless as the game is, and despite the fact that I still would rather face the Mets in the 1st round than the Brewers in the 2nd, it alwasy sucks to see your "ace" fall apart.

They're not gonna face the Brewers in the second. And if they do, you should thank your lucky stars.

And what on earth scares you so much about the Brewers over the Mets?

The Mets have the second highest scoring offense in the NL. Why do people pretend like offense doesn't exist when talking playoff matchups?

The Brewer rotation is also a mess after CC.

Ive said this a million times. The Brewers are a very streaky team. One minute, their at the top of their game, practically unstoppable. Just when you they'll never lose again, they fall apart. Just when you think they're done for, they get back up and go on another hot streak. All they need is one of those hot streaks to carry them through October.

Keep on saying it.

They get hot when they face terrible teams. They lose when they face remotely decent ones. That's because they're not all that good.

Not a banged up sheets and CC pitching every other day. They will be lucky to wn a game.

You've said it a million times and it's incorrect every time. The Brewers get hot when they play trashy teams. When they play good teams they lose.

I'd love to chip away at this lead because we all know we're getting 3-4 innings of the Mets bullpen

of course everytime we salivate at the thought of facing a weak bullpen they retire us in order to end the game

5 runners in 4 innings is not bad. that's the bright side of this start.

True. But we all know how Z is. He gets hit a little bit in the playoffs and he's liable to melt down and have a nightmare inning.

It's just discouraging that he's looked poor in his last 2 starts since the no-hitter. It's not exactly entering the post-season on a high note for our ace. This should be a warm up start.

If the Cubs lose, I don't care. I DO care, however, that our ace got battered again.

Remember how Z suddenly gave up eleventy billion home runs in NLCS game one after giving up like -10 in the regular season?

WTF was that about.
