Did anyone else see some crop circle looking thing in the LF grass?

Maybe it's to tell Braun where he's supposed to stand.

Lee!!

I see that too. Maybe it's a sign. Braun's an alien!

I can see the similarities.

They mentioned this in the past about capping a day of game roster at something like 30 during September games. It's pointless. All teams would do is not include their other 4 starting pitchers on their day of game roster.

Hahha, look at that pink backpack fall as the relievers come in from the pen.

Just watch the replay off DVR, and like I said in the ACTUAL game thread, "Wowsa." Z just look like he would have owned any lineup in baseball on Sunday. The movement on his pitches should have been illegal. All the congrats to Z for throwing the no-hitter, but MAD PROPS to Geovany Soto for calling the game. It wouldn't surprise me if Soto catches up with Jason Varitek for called no-hitters in a career. I won't say he will catch up to Varitek (that's like saying any pitcher today throwing a no-hitter could possibly catch Nolan Ryan), but it wouldn't surprise me, especially with the talent on the Cubs pitching staff.

There were only 2 balls that left the IF. The LF, CF, or 3B didn't make a single play. The toughest play was the Zambrano assist in the 2nd inning with Quintero running. The only tough thing about that play was throwing around his wide body from directly behind him. There were only 2 hard hit balls and they weren't drilled or anything. Most amazing is that other than the 3-4 pitches Z intentionally bounced and the last pitch of the game which was swung at and missed, none of the other pitches could have been anymore than 3 inches out of the strike zone.

I thought once Z could sense the no-hitter, he really beared down. Only Blum in the 8th even had a chance for a hit after the Pence HBP.
