No I just meant that as someone who has been following the Cubs playoff odds on various sites for the last few weeks, I finally saw them get to 99.9%, but after losing a game in the standings to the 2nd place team in the Wild Card, it will surely go down. Reading the post again, I can understand a little why it was taken that way but use some logic. I've been trying to hard to not offend the Pessimism Police over the last 2 months, so it was weird when I made that post and came back to find multiple people calling me out on it like I think the Cubs will blow a 10 game lead in the final 26 games.

Yeah, from the beginning of the set, we expected to split with the Phils and the Brewers to sweep the Pirates. No sense getting all worked up when it happened that way.

 

Also, with the Brewers playing the Mets, and the Cubs the Astros, I expect to end those series with the 6.5 game lead back, or at the very least 5.5.

2 years in a row in the playoffs. It's never happened in any of our lives, and it will happen this year.

Personally, I see the Cubs mashing the Astros to death this series. I think the Cubs will sweep the Astros and kill what is left of their postseason aspirations.
