I think Morgan didn't throw because it was pretty obvious with the catcher running and 0 outs that he would be held at third. He still hadn't rounded third when Morgan fielded the ball!

He would have been halfway down the line when the ball arrived at home had Morgan played that ball correctly.

Nyjer had the ball when Soto was still like 2 strides from 3rd. Weird play, especially with no outs.

seriously, this team can put up 5-6 in an inning like nobody's business. this is a damn good ball team. i know it's the pirates, but they've proven time again that they can do this to anyone.
