Miami has a way of cooling down hot streaks. We all remember that sweep of the Pirates last September where we just beat the crap out of them at Wrigley, then went to Miami and laid a huge egg.

I'm feeling confident, though. I say we'll win 2 of 3.

I'll even go out on a bigger limb.

Z will pitch a no-hitter tonight. You heard it here first.

I'll have what he's having.

So the Marlins actually have a fairly active fan-site.

Who knew?

I'm kinda surprised, since there are other teams who aren't perceived to have as nearly a crappy fan-base as them who don't have good sites or forums.

Actually I heard on the radio today that the Marlins have some of the top TV and radio ratings in all of baseball, so they have a good fan base, people just dont go to that park.

I love Z and I always believe he will throw a no-hitter, because he's stuff is that good, BUT.......I believe Z will hit a homerun (hey Z, I'm waiting for your first 2 homerun game, hoss) tonight.

I hope not, Cubs are 0-3 this season in games where Zambrano homers.

How did Z pitch in those games? I know he sucked in the last one, but I'm betting the other 2 losses weren't his fault.

6 1/3, 7 hits, 1 ER vs. Milwaukee. Kerry blew it by giving up 3 in the 9th.

6 IP, 6 hits, 6 BBs, 4 ERs vs. Houston. Cubs only run was the Zambrano solo HR.

And then that last one.

I don't have a problem with giving Aramis the night off; he was due for one even without the hip bruise. Let him rest and have him come back tomorrow.

Good to hear Aramis was good to go health-wise and still get the day off. He could use it. As always, I'd love to see more days off for Theriot, Lee and Soto...only 41 games left in the season.

Every time the Marlins come to Wrigley, we get a Bartman replay. I say it's about time to mark the Cubs' trip to FL with a replay of the Ramirez salami from game 4.

Just want to point out that, while the Marlins have had our number recently, it should be noted that Trachsel and Marquis did start two of those nightmarish games in Florida last year.

Steve Trachsel. What a pointless acquisition that was.
