so, how much longer will this go on before a decision?

any guesses?

The storm seems to be slowing down. Thank God the game started at 6 instead of 7 otherwise this one might be over already.

yeah but this game wouldn't be official.

True..

Looking better, just a short wait to go. No point in calling the game now.

I would say that they've waited this long why not finish it, but with a day game tomorrow they probably don't want to wait much longer.

Yeah it would have.... the bottom of the 5th just ended when the game was called. The Cubs stand to lose this game if its called.

If the game had started at 7 central, they wouldn't have gotten through more than 2 or so before the rain came.

Just saw the Prince-Parra scuffle.

Looks like the Brewers players were about to use the horse tranquilizer on Prince.

Where is it being shown? The Youtube generation is slacking

Just chiming in real quickly with my two cents on the rain...

It's really lightening up right now, and should be down to a mere drizzle before 10:00.

I agree with above posters that if they were going to call the game, they would have done it by now.

With only 4 innings, hopefully 3.5 innings to go, they could still get the game finished by midnight in a realistic scenario

Wait, what happened?

And what's the status with the Cubs game? Is it going to stop raining anytime soon?

Not sure that would even be enough.

It sure was nice of WGN Radio to give a 10 minute news update with absolutely no information on what is happening with the Cubs game... "and now back to Extension 720 with Milt Rosenberg"

On ESPN, they said that an hour or so ago swirling winds were spotted in and around Wrigley Field, the lower concourse was temporarily evacuated, and ESPN's crew had to shut down their production and evacuate their trailer and announcing booth. That said, they still haven't called the game.

Oddly enough, their evacuation route took them directly to Packers training camp.

I love Thom's reaction. "Oh look at this!"

Ha. Did you notice the "Things are coming apart for the Milwaukee Brewers, and it started with the four game sweet by the Mets, in Milwaukee."
