It's always nice to wake up and see the Cubs winning.

I wish that was the case. I was in Davis with a few friends for a going away party.

Lilly's ERA will end the day at 4.36 if that runner doesn't score. If he can get it below 4 by the end of the year, I'd be impressed.

 

He hasn't been pretty, but he's gotten the job done.

Out of curiosity, why is Kosuke in a virtual platoon? Do think Lou is only giving him starts vs. RHP in order to get his bat going again, or is this something that he's going to be doing the rest of the year? $12 million for a platoon player seems stupid.

.739 OPS vs lhp. if the cubs can get better production against lefties with him on the bench, it would be stupid to keep him in the lineup just because of how much he gets paid, come on dude.
