Offensively, the only downgrade is really in batting average. Inge walks more and probably hits for a little more power than Pudge does at this stage of his career.

Farnsworth has given up 2 ER in a month, but he's managed to put up a 5.40 ERA post ASB.

 

The NYY are a big money "must win now" team desperate to make the playoffs, and they just lost their very good hitting C for the season, and have no legit replacement. You have to hold their feet to the fire and come away with something more than Kyle Farnsworth.
