Vitters just had a day off yesterday, so that could be...but Flaherty has been out of action for almost a week now.

Rundle stayed hot for Boise, 2 for 3 with a double, triple, walk, and K. Harrison went 2 for 5 with a double, and Brenly doubled in his only plate appearance.

 

Bristow was pretty good as well. 4 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 5/1 K/BB, HBP

I know he's not exactly a superstar prospect, but Samson keeps on hitting well. He's up to .312 with a .377 OBP and .379 SLG (his main downfall). He's only 20, too. He hit 3rd tonight.

 

He's one of those guys who probably won't make any of our top prospect lists anytime soon, but he's a guy I'm finding myself checking boxscores for, for whatever reason. I think of him as a similar player to Theriot, but with potential for more pop down the road.

What do you mean raw? He had a pinch-hitting appearance today after starting the first two games after the break.

So maybe the story/myth was true that Shark was given direction on what pitches and pitches he couldnt use? Sure seems with the massive increase in ks is because of some out pitch that he is using now(the splitter?).

He was striking out guys in AA with that pitch. At least it looked like a splitter. It could have been a change up.
