Wow, some people here have REALLY short attention spans.

...and I thought I was bad.

Completely and totally agree. Some people need to calm down and just have fun for a minute.

Joe Buck calling out Yogi Berra for moving closer. Why not challenge him to a fight Joe. He's damn near 90 it isn't that short of throw for him.

I cannot believe they are getting rid of this park. Idiots.

??

Babe Ruth played there. You are getting rid of history and I do not like it.

Have you been there before?

Personally I thought the same way as you until I went there. What a dump. Cramped dark narrow concourses, extremely steep upper deck, cramped seats.

Calling me a hater of Joe Buck is most certainly a compliment.

the thread title needs to be changed to reflect the real start time, or did that mean 7 pm mountain time?

Yes and I loved it. I thought it was amazing.

What HOFers are still alive and couldn't make it besides Musial?

Johnny Bench, Hank Aaron, Joe Morgan.

Ron Santo had to be escorted away.

Aaron was there.

On my recollection of who actually are HOFers that are still living that I didn't see there: Musial, Bench, Morgan, Jim Bunning, Catfish Hunter, Duke Snider, Eddie Matthews, Koufax, Red Schoendienst, Yaz?, Nolan Ryan

Some of those might have been there, but I just missed them.

Carlton Fisk and the reaction from Yankee fans could have been interesting.

This music is ridiculous

It makes me feel like I'm getting ready to go to battle with Mel Gibson in Braveheart or sink with Leo in Titanic.

I don't know which one is worse.

That Leo is dreamy.

Yeah, like I said before, nobody loves Baseball history as much as me, but Yankee Stadium didn't impress me a bit.

It's be friggin hilarious if Rivera blows the save and takes the loss.

I think it was his one blown save.

Man, I was actually a little excited for this game... but after all that........ ugh.

Again, no offense meant towards the old Legends, but damn.... 45-60 minutes after the broadcast starts- for the start of a sporting event - is a little too long to hold my attention.

who forced you to watch the pregame?

You would think I would realize that would have happened after the last few years or what not, but when I looked at the APG and saw there was stupid thing called "ASG Celebrity Red Carpet Show"(?) on an hour before the scheduled 3hr time slow scheduled for the ASG, that that red carpet thing would be the BULK of the pre-game show and all that pomp.

Stupid me. Live and learn.

Babe Ruth did not play here.

I realize Wrigley has changed quite a bit since players like Gabby Harnett played, but still. It's completely different since the mid-70's

He did enter a few tie games and lose.
