I just hope the Cobs realize that this is their most important game of the season so far. theres a BIG difference between a 4.5 game lead and a .5 lead, especially with the Pirates having no intention of beating the Brewers.

Today's game represent the difference between a 3.5 game lead and a 1.5 game lead.

that is correct. Still, the 3.5 is a lot better. Still, lets just beat them because their the damn Cardinals. Watching them celebrate last night made me want to throw up and smash the TV, and considering I caught that last half inning at my favorite sushi bar, I probably wouldnt have been invited back,

Maybe you actually wanted to smash up and thow the TV.

Um...wow. No Fukudome or Edmonds? Wow.

Yeah, why are we sitting our 2 best lefties against a RHP?

Well that lineup doesn't make any sense at all.

It is somewhat understandable. Kosuke's OPS for the last week is .485, and Edmonds is 0 for St Louis, and 1 for his last 10. I know, sample size.

Maybe Lou knows something we dont. Or maybe it's the white flag special. who knows.

I don't like that lineup. Hopefully Lou knows something we don't.

Reed Johnson hasn't drawn a walk since 31 May !! His .012 IsoD over that period comes from a HBP. His P/PA of 2.87 has to be one of the lowest in MLB.

06/01 - 07/05 AB R H 2b 3b HR RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS BABIP P/PA IsoD RBI%
Johnson 36 6 10 4 0 1 7 0 4 0.278 0.289 0.472 0.762 0.290 2.87 0.012 0.375

I'm not sure I like this guy leading off today, let alone playing at all.

In a ridiculously small sample Murton seems to put up good numbers vs. right handers, but gets all his clutch hits against the lefties.

Well that lineup doesn't make any sense at all.

Maybe Lou knows something we dont. Or maybe it's the white flag special. who knows.

I don't like that lineup. Hopefully Lou knows something we don't.

pregame radio show lou just said he wanted to give fukudome 2 days off 'so he'll be ready to go tuesday.'

he didn't say anything about edmonds. i didn't see the game yesterday, but my brother claims edmonds took his time running home on the sac fly wannabe, so he thinks edmonds is in lou's doghouse.

Wow, beautiful. Are these all simulated games?

I don't have a good feeling about today at all. I feel we'll get stomped 8-1 or something.

No, that was against actual Brewers rookie ballers.
