Typical Cubs/Cards tilt.

 

Do blowouts ever happen when these two teams play. I think I remeber a game in 98 where the Cards scored a bajillion runs in the first inning but that's about all I can remember.

There was a series at Wrigley in June 2004 that featured back-to-back blowouts, each team being on the receiving end once. The Cubs have hung a few crooked numbers on the board in St. Louis over the last few years.

Ahh, greats who've been on both teams...Hornsby, Sutter, Smith, Harry Carey...and Jim Edmonds...

Last year, the Saturday game before Hancock did his thing, we won I think 9-1 here. That was a fun day at the ballpark.

We were blowing them out the one year up 8 I think and proceeded to lose on Pujols' 3rd bomb.
