that's not a negative split... steals are positive for the other team so it stands to reason that the cubs would have a better record when not allowing a stolen base.

Ward grounded into a double play to end the inning with runners on 1st and 2nd in the first, but even that had 1 of our 2 runners get on due to an error. There haven't been any innings where the offense has looked good.
