that team was 17th in batting... not great but not terrible either. they could hit for a decent average, they just couldn't walk or hit for power.

Come the hell on. Its getting late, and the Cubs look lifeless and are giving this guy the start of his career. This lineup isnt what anyone envisioned going into the season, but it should be good enough to scrape a few rus across the plate.

 

He threw a 2 hit complete game against the Cubs in 2005. Lee did homer in that game. Cubs lost that one 2-1.
