So have they said anything about why Ramirez had to go back home? Someone in the other thread said he heard on ESPN that it was for he birth of their child, but why wouldn't they have just said that immediately?

 

Because international athletic celebrities might not be overly keen on keeping the press and the public appraised on every little thing about their family?

 

Especially when said athlete lives in a 2nd world country where there may be a decent chance of someone pulling some shenanigans at the hospital.

 

Or there could be some complications with the pregnancy and Ram wants to avoid the spotlight for this.
