I dont know why i root for UNI in the tourney and 1AA playoffs, their fans are generally a bunch of whiney beotches.

 

They are, but you have to keep ISU at bay. After all, a good chunk of their fans believe that they should be in the Big 12.

The ISU I was talking about was Illinois State. Probably should've made that clearer when I was responding to a post regarding an Iowa school.

yeah thats what i was going for there. i've never really met a fan of illinois state, and i lived in B-N for 4 years. i figured flames post was in regard to an UNI/IaState rivalry.

Going to the Big Ten Tourney Friday night and have a few question for anyone who has ever been while it's been held at Conseco. Are good tickets usually available at the door the day of? Do ushers generally let you move around? Is beer sold during the tournament? Thanks for any help.

They were maybe the worst team in the state in November/December but that's debatable. They've been the best team in the state since Christmas. I think a somewhat healthy Iowa is definitely better but as it stands it's UNI.

DAMMIT, army had a 3 point lead at american in the last minute and gave up a three ball, then american made a free throw with 3.6 seconds left to win by one. if army had won we would've gotten them at home in the PL final; now we have to go to american and play the final.

 

we beat toothpaste easily (61-44).

Ball State loses at home in OT to one of the worst teams in the country, Eastern Michigan, 55-53.

 

Thanks to some other teams, Ball State wins the MAC West anyway. At 13-16 (7-9). And gets the #2 seed in the MAC Tournament.

UNI just lost to Drake less than a month ago.

 

So what? They played in the same league and UNI went 17-4 while Drake went 7-12.

 

Michigan State's not the best team in the Big Ten because they lost to Penn State and Northwestern less than two months ago.
