I don't wisc very much, but their offense hasn't look as crisp as it normally does, like you said they look lost. They just took, I think, third 10 second violation.

Thabeet is tall, but that is about it. All he does is clog up the lane.

I think this game is over, UConn's guards are taking over.

he blocks shots, too. he's definitely an athlete.

Yea, I was including that in clogging the lane. He owns the lane on defense.

clogging the lane sounds like what someone like tisdale does, though. stand there and take up room, haha.

that was for you, ssr.

yea, that was a little deceiving on my part. He just needs to work on his offense, but I'm surprised he's such a good free throw shooter.

While I'm here and thinking about it, I'm gonna be up at home this weekend, and I was wondering if any local stations would be picking up the Illinois games. My parents live in Pearl City (by Freeport), and they get Mediacom and the local stations for Madison and Rockford.

Thanks.

My dad lives in Rockford and he has Insight that has picked up the BTN. Outside of that, you may try CSN or the local Fox station sometimes picks up games (at least they used to).

he looks like he runs the court well and gets, obviously, high percentage shots. he should go very high next year.

I'm basing this all on this one game, but he looked like he had good potential. It looked like Wisc was getting away with some fouls down low, so that probably affected his game.

I don't think they have BTN, but I don't think the game is on BTN anyway. I'll try Fox. I knew some local station used to pick it up, but couldn't remember which one, and it never shows up on the guide.

The South Padre games are on Fox College Sports which pretty much nobody anywhere gets(unless you have DirectTV.) A sports bar is probably your best bet.

You've obviously never been to Pearl City, IL.

Ball State plays UWM on Wednesday

Bring it Andy!

Should be a good game. We should've won last year (blew a 17-point lead, which turned out to be one of 11 losses by seven points or less that year), and are 2-1 so far this year, but both were home wins over bad teams. If we win, it'll be because Jarrod Jones has another good game. He's been a nice surprise to start the year.

UWM has a gaggle of newcomers who are fun to watch, and look like a solid team this year.

Funny you could say the exact same thing about Ball State. UWM going down.

Bob Knight is very good doing color. I just wish he'd stop saying Warshington. Kansas leads UW by 15 at the under 16 of the 2nd half.

My dad says it that way. As he would say, "I don't speak English I speak Hoosier."

That line on the ND/IU game(15 points) was absurd. I know IU has a national fanbase which tends to overrate a team when it comes to pointspreads, but so does ND.

Kind of surprised Brey still had the starters in when I got back from work (~5:00 mark) I guess they've gotta compete for Indiana kids, so may as well drive the point home.

Brey always leaves the starters in longer than I would. I'm not sure if it's extra caution or what, but I guess it's better than taking them out too quickly.

Tomorrow's game with Texas will be huge and a great measuring stick for the Irish.

Should be a good game. I am curious to how the Texas D will do against a real good big man. They can get better on offense, but the Texas defense will help them win a lot of games this season.

I will be too busy being on the sidelines as Ball State finishes its undefeated season to care about Notre Dame losing in basketball.

They're Indiana, you couldn't have expected them to get hit hard.

You don't think Indiana got hit hard?

well, technically they hit themselves with the self-imposed restrictions on recruiting and scholarships. the ncaa basically said that was good enough (plus 3 years probation). i believe those restrictions are still in effect on Crean until next summer or something.

Well they got hit hard in the sense that every player on the team left, but no, I don't think 3 years of probation is getting hit hard. I don't know that they deserved to get any worse, but getting probation for hiring a coach on probation and not monitoring him seems like a slap on the wrist to me.

Their APR scores the next couple years are going to knock a scholarship or 2, and if the NCAA grants them a waiver about that, then I'll actually get riled up.
