UNC may go undefeated.

Hopefully the additions of Smith and Legion, along with the continued improvements made by McCamey, Tisdale, and Davis lead Illinois back to the tournament. Starting in '09, we'll finally start to see the results of the recruiting improvements. \:D/

IU brings back a whopping 0.7 PPG and 1 scholarship player, who just earned his scholarship in January. There is no 08-09 season.

quite the contrary this is the most I've looked forward to watching IU basketball in a long time, maybe ever

we get it.

yeah, not looking forward to this season, but i'm going to try to look at it as a season (or two) of basically exhibition games and not get too upset until Crean has a chance to bring in the players he wants.

Really, we understand the guy doesn't like IU and is looking forward experiencing schadenfreude. Great, move on.

I'm actually looking forward to IU's season. It may be ugly, but it will lack Mike Davis, Kelvin Sampson and the numbnuts that made up last year's team (save a couple). I'm expecting to enjoy a team that plays hard, results be damned.

We could be good, we could be bad. It just depends on how quickly Legion can get going in the second half of the year. Two years from now we will be ridiculous. Oh, and Luke Harangody is not the best player besides Hansbrough coming back. He is good, but not that good.

I wouldn't have bothered calling you on this, but you didn't offer an alternative.

Ahhh, Stephen Curry. See, now I'm more than happy to concede the point.

I am still holding out hope that we can squeak out a game against them.

I'd give them about an 80% chance of beating us twice.

Other than that, Notre Dame could give them trouble in the Maui, maybe Wake Forest, maybe Clemson. I don't know much about Arizona

Yea, they could go undefeated pretty easily.

IU's inevitable bad year is going to mean another season of having to hear everyone with a pulse harp on the Big 10 about how "down" it is

UNC isn't going to go undefeated. Get real.

No kidding.

Opens the door for Penn St. to get a 1st round bye in the BTT. Probably not, but it's out there.

After the top 4 (MSU, Purdue, Wisky, OSU), it's a real crapshoot for those middle teams before you get to UM and IU at the bottom.

Gun to my head I'd say Illinois, Minnesota, Penn St., Northwestern, Iowa

And wow, after the top 3, the Big 10 is going to be really bad this year.

I'd take Tyler Smith over Harangody, as well.

I disagree. The top 3 will be darn good, but the next 3 (Ill, Minn, OSU) will all be improved over last season by the end of the year with all the new bodies in the fold. I expect 5 tourney teams.

His SAT score has been flagged because of a ridiculous jump in the score, that might be why he hasn't qualified for Arizona yet.

i don't know a thing about this guy, but i found this section funny/obviously bogus.

Jennings said he will get his standardized test results back next Thursday. This is the third time he has taken a standardized test. Jennings said he was red-flagged for a jump in his score from the first to the second test. He said he didn't know his scores.

"The first time I took it I didn't try, the second time I did so I had to take it a third time," Jennings said.

i didn't really try on my SAT either.

me neither and I took it after my junior year not bothering to take it again, got 1150 so didn't need to although it could have helped

standardized tests were always a joke for me. i know some bright people that struggled with them, and some people who didn't do great in classes but did well on standardized tests. i got a 1370 or something on my psat and was up half the night before my sat playing video games at my friend's house. i got a 1460 and skipped a couple of the reading comprehension questions because the stories that went along with them were too boring. one was about how pencils are made... zzzzzzzzzzz.......

hope it was worth it, although i suppose not everyone could cut it at the weather channel anyway.

i got 30,000,000 on pac-man and i was up all night doing math problems at my buddy's house the night before.

oh, and i beat contra without the code and i know plenty of really good gamers who never did well on that game. to me, it was a big wank, though.

it was just a story from 13 years ago... really the SAT means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

and i don't believe that you beat contra without up-up-down-down-L-R-L-R-B-A-start
