Bring up Marshall.

 

Bring up some young dude from Daytona or Peoria.

 

Just do something. Anything. I can't watch this guy pitch wearing my favorite uniform anymore.

Cubs will score this inning. Hopefully, multiple times. Ledesma is not good. He just ran the bases. Facing a good lineup for the 2nd time. Marquis doesn't deserve run support though.

If were going to lose (not that it's over). We should at least get smoked and have Marquis give up at least 7 runs. If that is what happens and Marquis gets yanked from the rotation we will end up winning games because of this loss.

It's official: I hate Marquis more than I hate Edmonds. In fact, Edmonds seems like a pretty cool guy compared to Marquis.

 

I said that last week and got flamed for it

 

People can flame away at me for this. I don't care. If I could remove only one person from this team, it would be Marquis. I wouldn't even consider Edmonds over Marquis.

I'm thinking Cardinals reject Randy Keisler at AAA might be better at this point. At least he'd find the strike zone occasionally.

 

I'd settle for Andy Pratt every 5th day instead of Marquis.

Unfortunately I don't see the Cubs eating that contract. He'd have been DFA'd already if he didn't sign a $20 million deal. Hendry handcuffed himself big-time with that.

 

Although IMO it would be worth every penny, but what do I know?
