Anyone have a scouting report on Kuroda? Is he as good as his numbers? I remember reading that the Cubs were interested in him along with Fukudome, and some people didn't want him

He doesn't have much of a Home/Away split, so he's not thriving on Dodger Stadium. His defense is bailing him out a bit though, he's giving up a 20.2 LD% and only a .268 BABIP. I wonder if teams will figure him out though, the first time through the order teams hit only .202/.235/.287/.522 off him, improving to .266/.330/.380/.709 the second time and .288/.354/.411/.765 the 3rd time. Unfortunately no team has gotten to face him twice yet this season, so there's no evidence along those lines.

Kuroda will be compared to Matsuzaka and Nomo. Fukudome will be compared to Ichiro and Matsui. Book it.
