Pretty decent line for Gallagher, so congrats to him. I am a little worried about his not missing many bats though...

 

He had 6 Ks in his first start. I'm not concerned about his K rate in this game, throwing strikes and mixing his pitches is more important at this stage. I just wish I could have watched this game.

I like PHing Zambrano there. First, Big Z wants to hit -- and that's good. Second, you aren't showing up the other team by PHing with a real hitter. Third, if the team does run into trouble, you preserve the rest of the PHers for later action.

 

Also, I'm very glad Lou took Sean out. It was the absolute right time.
