Isringhausen on the DL with a "cut" on his hand.

I hate when teams make up injuries to get someone off the roster. Same goes for the Red Sox and Buchholtz.

He cut his hand beating up on a TV after the game yesterday.

Is that true? Because if so, that's outstanding.

Jason Isringhausen, who Thursday suffered his sixth blown save and fifth loss of the season, was placed on the disabled list because of a hand injury.

Isringhausen reportedly suffered a laceration on his right hand when he reacted angrily after last Friday's game, when he blew a 2-0 lead with two out in the bottom of the ninth at Milwaukee. He twice delievered open-handed blows to a television set in the clubhouse after the 3-2 loss.

Good job, Izzy. I love it. Way to channel your inner Kyle Farnsworth.

At least they were open handed blows on the TV so he can claim he never hit it with his fists when the TV sues him for appliance abuse.

I'm just looking through Marmol's game logs.

This Sunday the 18th will be one month since the last time he's given up a run.
