Ozzie has got to go. He's running an asylum. No control of his team, the media, or his emotions. He's Hal McRae all over again.

I'm going to have to side with the WS on this one. Locker room talk is locker room talk. If you cant be a crude guy there, where can you be a crude guy?

As Yogi said, the game is 90% mental and the other half physical (with sex dolls)". But the sox are in a slump, and they needed to get their minds off ot it and loosen up, thats what the whole point was. Sure, they should have put it in the trainers room or some place where only the players have access, but this really should be a "boys will be boys" situation. No one is getting hurt, no one is getting made to feel like an object. Its just guys trying to loosen up.

Agreed who cares! I'm sure worse has been said and done in a baseball locker room. This is non-news.

Who cares? A clubhouse should be for players only and should be a sanctuary for them. Media should wait outside.

Your opinion on what it should be really doesn't matter. The major league clubhouse is not for players only, it's for players, coaches, trainers, staff and media.

After hearing mike and mike I changed my stance a bit. The fat Mike said you never know who could walk into a locker rooms and that includes kids. Yea, that would be a bit disturbing for a kid to see.

Players? Yes. Coaches? Yes. Trainers? Yes. Staff? Yes. Media? No.

The media is not employed by Major League Baseball or it's teams. The media are guests in all clubhouses. IMO, they shouldn't be allowed in. That's what post game press conferences are for.

Your opinion on what it should be like doesn't matter. The precedent is longstanding and clear. Media is allowed, as are others guests. This isn't some privately owned fraternal clubhouse.

Can male reporters go into female sports locker rooms?

No.

Yet female reporters CAN go into male locker rooms.

You don't see a difference here?

It's OK for women to look at half naked men but not OK for men to look at half naked women?

the male athletes don't care if a woman reporter sees them half-naked, the women athletes do care if a male reporter sees them half-naked. it's not that confusing.

anyway, unless you're a professional athlete or a reporter, i don't know why your opinion even matters. it has nothing to do with you.

just because you're bitter that some skank reporter for the ole miss times shot you down 8 years ago doesn't mean that you should bring this up in conversation for no reason.
