I'm holding onto the memory of the 83-win Cards winning it all. Playoffs are a crapshoot.

You have to get there first.

I'm curious as to what Soto would net us in a trade. Discuss.

Maybe he could fetch us GEOVANY SOTO.

Seriously why would you trade Soto?

I'm just playing with the idea, but what if you could net 2-3 stud pitching prospects plus a C in return?

The negativity around here really is ridiculous, and this is coming from a pessimist.

Every teams goes through their ups and downs. The Cubs will be fine.

They get at least 1 this inning.

It's hard to be upbeat about a team when they've won 3 times in the last 2 weeks.

That, and its depressing to see how good they were for the past month, and now....not so much. Definitely worrysome.

Yup. It sucks when I got my hopes up and seriously considered this team could be a special team.

They have the fifth best record in all of baseball....that's not bad in my book.

I meant like 100 win World Series contender special. I know, blah blah blah 3-8 in 11 games isn't the end of the world.

Over/under on when Jim panics and trades 6 players and cash for Roberts? 2 weeks?

At this point, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Ryan has been damned impressive but the defense has completely screwed him over.

how long till Lou blows up and gets us back on track?

I'm really starting to get concerned about the Cards getting a bunch of flukey ass seasons out of their pitchers and winning this division while the Brewers and Cubs hover around .500.

On a side note, Thom B. is a really bad broadcaster.

Too bad the players would be Rich Hill, Felix Pie, Sean Gallagher, Ronny Cedeno, Sean Marshall, and Jose Ceda.

Maybe he should concentrate on playing the best players first.

Brennaman is now blasting the phrase "have a catch".

It must suck to hate everything as much as he does.

or as much as i hate him now. Give me a break. They're clearly quoting Field of Dreams. Is that so bad? My god, this guy has some serious issues.

Yup, Ryan looks really good tonight. He doesn't deserve the fate he will receive.

He doesn't know how to do that. He does know how to run around like a senile old coot though.
