Its a good sign that Aramis was in the dugout after he was removed. If they thought there was something really wrong with him, the medical trainers would have been attending to him in the clubhouse. If is injured though, I guarantee, Lou is going to wait until Lillys gone, put in his most dispoasable reliever and cause a bench clearing brawl.

Well he did say after the game it's really swollen. That makes me nervous. Until I see him in the lineup I'm preparing myself for the worst.

So if Aram is out today, what are the odds of DeRo at 3rd, Riot at SS, and Fontenot at 2nd? Id put them at about 80-20 right now. I mean Fontenot is hot and hes a lefty and hes white, gotta go with him over the RH hitting hot Cedeno.

Fixed. There's nothing hot about Fontenot.

If we miss him for one day, its not going to kill us, especially against the St. Louis linuep and a pretty mediocre pitcher. If its bothering him, Lou should sit him, and if hes available to pinch hit if the situation arises, then use him there.

what scares me is that they find it's broken once the swelling goes down.

i'm expecting a pitcher to be called up today, am i wrong?

ETA: i guess lieber (3.2IP) and Howry (2IP) are the only guys off limits today, so maybe a move isnt necessary. but lilly's likely to go down early

Chad Fox should be unavailable but that has nothing to do with how much he pitched last night.

Why is Fukudome hitting cleanup? This is so frustrating. Without Ramirez, the lineup should be something like...

1. Kosuke Fukudome (RF)

2. Mark DeRosa (3B)

3. Derrek Lee (1B)

4. Alfonso Soriano (LF)

5. Geovany Soto ©

6. Ronny Cedeno (SS)

7. Felix Pie (CF)

8. Ryan Theriot (2B)

Actually, it kind of makes sense. Ive always wondered why teams always put there biggest home run hitter, whose often one of their biggest strike out candidates in the cleanup spots. You have to wonder you would want a guy whose more likely to give you a 2 or 3 run double in that position than a guy whose just as likely to strike out of hit into a double play as hit a home run.

Love our cleanup hitter. Free Ronny and Pie. Give Lou some more prune juice, old bastard.
