Good lord the ESPN crew is terrible. I am thinking about switching away from HI-Def

WCIU has HD now too, check if you get it.

I'm guessing he doesn't get WCIU. He has EI, and I'm assuming they don't broadcast in HD.

They have 1 game a night in HD usually. It is almost always the Yankees or Sox.

are you on Dish or DirecTV or cable? I usually have 4 or 5 games/day in hi def

If Aramis started a hop when he hit home runs, that would be pretty freakin sweet.

He's done it a few times. Lee does it fairly often.

I hope it's an homage to Sosa. I know it's not. but it'd be awesome in multiple ways.

That said - DERO!

Yeah, Lee does is a lot. I agree as well, it would be a pretty cool if it was an homage to Sammy, I still love Sosa.

By the way, this team is seriously good, we will be flat out scary when Soriano comes back and starts swinging the bat better.

Ahh, he has EI, I see, well then yeah, he would be out of luck.

Like Pat likes to say "You're never as good as you look when you're winning and you're never as bad as you look when you're losing."

We're not that good. But we're still pretty darn good.

I would like to know this stat:

Given the three hitters in the lineup at the top of any inning, what is the average number of runs scored in that inning?

Fred??

Can you restate that more exactly ?

I think he's asking what is the average number of runs scored in an inning when Lee-Ramirez-Fukudome are due up.

Yeah, and then generalize that to other players.

What is the average number of runs during innings when Lee, Ramirez, and Fukudome lead off?

That's not something I can access readily. Give me some time to think on it, and I'll see what I can come up with.

so fred, what kind of program do you use to figure all this madness out?

I'm guessing some SQL Server client. I dunno what type of database server he uses, but TOAD for Oracle is an amazingly useful tool.
