Love how the Celtics and their fans celebrated being taken to a 7th game by a 37 win team. Fortunately for them, they can win a title without ever winning a road game because they have home court throughout. Unfortunately for them, every team from here on out will not be the Atlanta Hawks. They'll still beat Cleveland, though.

I might be an idiot, but I think Cleveland gets them. I think they are a decent team that would have been about 7th best in the West.

7th in the West? They have LeBron but they're not that good outside of him. I realize they made the Finals last year with just LeBron and a bunch of role players, but I don't think there's any chance they get past Boston in the second round.

No I mean Boston as 7th in the West.

Yeah I like all the four teams left and Phoenix and Dallas better than them. I like the big three, but after that I don't. Rondo and Perkins are just bleh.

Well, they played 30 games against the West this year. They went 25-5. So that means that in the other 22 games against the West and the 30 games against the East you'd have them going 26-26?

Boston may not dominate in the playoffs (although there is certainly plenty of history for a team struggling in one round and then coming back and plying well in later rounds), but they didn't win 66 games just by being in the East. They thoroughly dominated both conferences during the season by being the most consistent team.

I never said I was right. I just don't think they are that good. I think they were able to beat up on a bad East and take the West games more seriously than the West teams did against them.

Guys, from now on when I make an argument don't assume that I actually believe in the validity of said argument.

How the hell would you ever be able to prove this one way or the other? Is David Stern going to make them replay the season with Boston in the West? Clown.

Well, that would have made more sense than celebrating like they won the championship already.

I figured San Antonio would win at least one of the two games in New Orleans but they're just getting worked. Now they're going to have to win both at home.

Well I figured they would win both at home anyways. Now, I think it won't matter. I think NO is taking this series.

Yeah, they've looked pretty darn good in both games. You don't just luck into beating San Antonio by 20 points in two straight games.

I really don't like Sam Cassell - he's takes so many cheap shots at opposing players it's ridiculous.

Cavs down 4 at the half in Boston despite missing all 6 threes they took and Rondo scoring 15 first half points. I like their chances if they can make it a possession by possession game down the stretch.

On the other hand you have Ray Allen with 0 points and Paul Pierce with 2 on a combined 1-10 shooting.

Another good win for the Lakers tonight. It got a little closer than I would have preferred at the end but I'm not going to complain about having a 2-0 series lead. Now if they can steal one in Utah, they can close it out in 5 - which would be very nice.
