how many times does hamels have to shut down a lineup full of righties before lou realizes that his changeup might be fooling them just a bit? it bottles my mind just how old timey and caught up in tradition you have to be to put a lineup like this out there against a lefty changeup artist.

 

In all fairness, righties do slightly better against him than lefties.

How much longer does Cedeno to wait before he gets to replace Theriot? Don't know about anyboyd else, but Cedeno has outplayed Theriot so far. IMO, the best players should play, not manager's pets..

he has way more range, and so those two balls that Theriot barely missed, Cedeno would have gotten to, plus he has a better arm.

I honestly don't think there's any chance at all that Cedeno will become the regular at shortstop. I think it's possible that Theriot will be replaced, but it'd be through a trade.

maybe, but with victorino running you have to field the ball cleanly on a dive, get up and throw right away. i don't know that one can say cedeno would've made that play.
