Hamilton - Atkins Trade

Hey guys, what do think of this trade disregarding any kind of team needs that are involved?

 

I get: Atkins and McLouth

 

I give: Hamilton and Hermida

I think Hamilton is sure bet to outproduce Atkins this year in Arlington and you will probably break even with McLouth for Hermida.

I keep Hamilton and Hermida. Hamilton will rake in Arlington this year and I think this could be Hermida's break out season.

i'd need to know your 3B and OF but i like the Atkins-McLouth side a little bit more. Atkins is always really solid and McLouth will be 20-20. Honestly, I don't see Hamilton being much more than Brad Hawpe numbers this year. I think he's overvalued right now.

Thanks for the input guys. As it turns out, I do have a pretty big hole at 3B and might have to make this trade even though I'm wary of either Hamilton or Hermida having a break out year. With Kemp struggling though I'm worried my outfield could look pretty weak following the trade as well. I'm really 50-50 on this one. Here is my current lineup: Note- This is a 17 team league.

Yup, the only way I'd consider a trade is if you are driving around the streets of Dallas and see Hamilton leaning into a car in a shady part of town.

Unfortunately I don't have access to the streets of Dallas at this point in time. I guess I'll just have to trust him. Thanks for advice guys, I'll stand pat with what I've got.
