i said i wasn't going to complain until the cubs played at least ten games, but i hope lou doesn't use marmol today. he's already pitched four of six games, i think. what's the point of carrying 12 pitchers if you aren't going to use them? i'd hate to see marmol get worn down. It is well known and acknowledged that Cedeno sucks right now. What is not acknowledged by some, for God knows what reason, is that there is reason to hope for improvements out of Cedeno.

And they're our only options at SS right now, so between the two, especially on days they've decided Pie can't play, I'd like to see Cedeno get some at bats instead of wasting them on a journeyman minor leaguer pushing 30.
