I've only been watching college hoops for 15 years, and Christian was the first person to come to mind. Who else would you think of?

JJ Redick. Great regular season player, but always flamed out in the tournament. Sure, both JJ and Tyler won all the individual accolades you can win, but they never hung that banner.

True enough... those Duke teams in 04 and 05 weren't great, but they were very good. JJ could have done better if he had a better backcourt mate than Daniel Ewing, or post man to draw defends to than Sheldon Williams. Sheldon's (future) wife would have served a better purpose than he did. :banghead:

I don't just hate UNC or Duke, I (impersonating Dr. Cox) mega-loathe both schools. But neither school is nearly as bad as Kentucky. The ONLY school in North Carolina I can stand is Wafe Forest, and that's because they had two of my favorites players come from the school; Tim Duncand Chris Paul.

Beasley is a better player than Hansbrough and put up better numbers on a crappier team, and his reward for carrying a team that would've won 12 games without him to the NCAA tournament is to get passed up by a dude who tonight was the ringleader of his team's biggest weakness - interior defense. How many alley-oops did Kansas throw down tonight, and where was the national player of the year to do anything about them?
