I hope lee keeps the bearded look.

 

My new avatar doesn't look as glorious as the full sized picture.

 

 

Same here. Bearded Lee looks good.

That last DLee picture gave me a Greg Oden vibe. Maybe because I've seen that ESPN The Mag ad with Oden about 20 times today.

According to Arizona Phil, Peter Gammons was at Fitch today.

Gammons was on SportsCenter reporting on the Cubs. He spent most of his time talking about how good Woody looked. He mentioned that Wood had batters including Lee shaking their heads as they left the box.

 

Gammons also talked about Lou's idea to hit Fukudome 3rd and move Lee and Ramirez down to 4th/5th.

Cubs reliever Jose Ascanio showed up at camp on Sunday with a black eye after being punched by a would-be robber outside a Scottsdale convenience store.

 

While information was still sketchy on Sunday, manager Lou Piniella said the incident happened Saturday night.

 

"He went over to Circle-K last night and evidently somebody … he got punched a few times by a guy who was looking for some money," Piniella said.
