Why would you want to be in Star Wars? That's the past you fools. Star Trek is the future. No more slogging around snowy moons and sleeping in the innards of some weird alien horse thing so you don't die, in Star Trek there are no civil wars, no needs, no wants. Just space exploration and 1 hr. adventures.

Seems like you have thought about this one before.

I picked Star Trek, but I'd like to say that I'd like to be James T. Kirk in the said world. He ended up with every female it seemed.

Why would anybody want to be James T. Kirk, the most overrated Captain in the Star Trek universe? Besides...I doubted Kirk would have lasted as long as he did, with "THE ALIEN LADIES" (<--impersonating Conan O'brien) because eventually he Kirk would have gotten some form of Alien STD, or somesort, and died young. I could imagine Kirk trying to "hook up" with the Borg Queen. Now Spock....HE'S THE MAN. The rightful Captain of the Original Enterprise.

(And yes...the nerd in me, has thought about this before)

Two words: food replicators

If I had a food replicator, and a holodeck in my house, I'd never leave. Ever.

Did the food replicators ever make booze?

Synthehol. Not alcohol.

Synthehol is an artificial substitute for alcohol, allowing the drinker to experience the intoxicating effects without any adverse after-effects such as hangovers. In long-term doses it creates a psychological (but not physical) addiction, similar to cannabis.

That is the best thing I have ever heard of. I'll take some with a side of Supercool.

imagine baseball with a lightsaber and laser blasts as balls

It would suck getting hit by a pitch. And Hitting the catcher in the helmet with your bat...

Unless your house was the USS Enterprise, and your job was to go on other planets and touch their stuff. Then you would.

Thinking about Star Wars' world is depressing. Think about it. It looks all romantic and adventurous being able to see whole worlds and travel all over the galaxy, but that is a select, select few that get to do so. Others know that these other worlds are accessible but due to economic/class circumstance will never get to see beyond their little planet.

I think if I were in that "world" and was not able to afford travel and adventure, I'd definitely join the armed forces or some sort of inter-planetary organization that could afford me the travel and adventure I'd crave.
