It seems like most of the things that happened in Cubdom in the past 7 years happened in that one year: Sammy hit in the head, Choi knocked out by Wood, Restraining Randall Simon, Prior falling over Giles, Sammy's 500th, etc.

I just threw up. I have to agree with others the music kind of blew. Plus the evil music started when we were playing and winning the NLDS. That didn't match up.

I'd say 2004 was fairly eventful too. Chip and Steve, Walker's Superman slide, Sammy passes (or was it ties?) Banks and then Alou wins the game on the next swing, Maddux's 300th, four 30-homer guys on one team, etc.

I did cry when I saw Baker in a Cub's uniform.

 

I also quit watching after the NLDS. If I recall correctly, the players went on strike after that and the games were never made up.
