Im not scared of Florida at all. I really wasnt even thinking about this game effecting the Illini. I just like seeing LSU lose.

Honestly there really is no hate. I was rooting for Tenn because Im tired of hearing some LSU fans, and analysts saying how great LSU is, and that since their 2 losses were in OT they arent that bad of a loss. Also hearing Les Miles open his mouth makes it really hard to root for LSU.

 

The comment regarding Hester was after seeing him on tv. He just looks funny.

That's cool. Honestly I believe it too, but you won't hear me blaring it to the masses. They're incredibly beat up at this point, but if they're healthy I still believe they're the best team. Given they've lost twice, they don't deserve to be in the NCG.

 

It won't happen, but if they happen to back they're way into the NCG, I wouldn't be the least bit upset.

By my count, if Missouri and WVU win, that puts OSU in the Rose Bowl, and if Illinois doesn't get an at large, they'll be in the Capitol One. Wisconsin has already accepted a bid for the Outback and Penn State for the Alamo, so where does that put Michigan? Holiday?

UCLA has 165 total yards tonight and only nine of those are rushing. Granted, Cowan has -31 and Breazell -7 but their leading rusher 17 for 48 and a 2.8 average.

 

~70 of those came on the scoring drive too, so UCLA did absolute crap outside of the final :35 of the first half. Not surprising, given how good USC's front 7 is, how bad UCLA's offensive line is and how few good skill players UCLA actually has.

 

They exceeded my expectations, though, as I had prediced a shutout.

That end of regulation was strange. First Oregon tries a 53 yarder that was long enough but wide. Oregon State gets called for leaping, and so Oregon gets 15 yards and a first down. They use that first down to run it into the middle of the field, but then instead of downing the ball they try to do the fire drill and run everybody onto the field at the last second, and they rushed the kick and it was wide anyway.

The Illini will be in the top 14 now, and I doubt they get passed over for an at large. Not going to matter because when OU beats Mizzou tonight, the Illini will be playing in the Rose, while Ohio State plays for the NC.
