So where are these officials from in this OU Mizzou game? They are horrible.

Are you referring to the PI call? That looked pretty obvious to me. I didn't think they'd call it, but the defender had his arms all over the receiver for nearly 2 seconds before the ball got there.

Yea on the replay it definatly was PI. I wonder why the hell Stoops reacted that way when it was right in front of him?

Come on OU

right, the Capitol One Bowl is open for Illinois at this point (with Wisconsin, Michigan and Penn State already committed) which is why I don't think they make the BCS unless OSU makes the NC game. Who would play in the Big 10 slot for the Cap One instead? Hawaii?

Michigan hasn't committed yet. The Capital One Bowl is down to Illinois and Michigan. If Illinois doesn't get picked by the BCS, they'll play in that bowl and Michigan will play in the Champs Sports. If Illinois does get picked, then Michigan plays in the Capital One Bowl.

someone just said Michigan was in the Champ Sports bowl

Not exactly-somebody asked them where Michigan would go if Illinois went to the Capital One Bowl, and they replied Champ Sports with a link. That link said that Michigan would go to the Capital One if Illinois went to the BCS and to the Champs Sports if they didn't.

That was me, and they havent committed yet. That was where I was saying they could go depending on some outcomes.

WV was stopped for a 4th down field goal attempt, but Pitt committed a personal foul that gave WV a first down. Next play, WV runs for a TD.

Pat White is very questionable to return to this game though. He cannot grab anything with his thumb at the moment.

Hopefully Pat White isn't injured too badly.

Mizzou cost themselves a TD by not taking more time before snapping after the questionable spot at the goal line.

IMO, kicking an 18 yard field goal is almost always bad strategy. You either get a TD on 4th down, or you give the opponent the ball on the 1 yard line. Teams starting on the 1 yard line don't pick up a 1st down very often (and occasionally give up a safety), and so even if Missouri didn't get it they would have had a great chance of having great field position on their next drive.

Come on Missouri. You've got to be able to punch the ball in two chances from the one yard line. Less field goals, more touchdowns, please.

EDIT: And what's up with Steve Slaton? 7 carries for 3 yards.

yes, it's been proven mathematically that teams should go for it much more often than they do on 4th down... especially down in the red zone

I believe Mizzou has gone three and out around ten times ALL season. When KU did it to them on the first two drives last week, that was the first time in a while.
