there are a lot of hot asses on tv. as far as tv-land women go, she's nothing special...at all.

Well yeah, but compared to non-tv women, she is a hottie.

If you go into the average office environment, she'd definitely be the top 3 good looking women in the office or on the street.

Depending on the street.

Certainly weird: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/huskies/2004186798_umen170.html

It began Friday when OSU senior forward Marcel Jones and freshman center Sean Carter led a contingent of about five Beavers onto the court at the end of UW's practice, with Jones boasting, "Don't let our record fool you."

...

Washington players and coaches said a Beavers player, who several identified as Jones, left a voice message for Huskies guard Joel Smith, asking UW players to come to the parking lot of the hotel where Washington was staying, and fight.

Oregon State coach Kevin Mouton denied that any Beavers players went to UW team hotel, two blocks from Gill Coliseum, though several in the Huskies party confirmed the incident.

"We were all just kind of laughing about it like, 'Hey, they are going to come to the hotel here and fight," Appleby said. "We were like, 'I don't think so,' and just laughed it off and focused on the game. I think they were just trying to intimidate us."

Oregon State realizes that they don't stand a chance of beating any Pac-10 teams on the court so they figure they might as well try off the court. Too bad for them, they probably would have lost the fight with UW as well.

Just got back from Nick's. Sat right next to Erin Andrews.

get the digits?

I'm sure.

Oh yeah. I think I definitely stood a chance...

Erin Andrews would probably only fall in the 85-90 percentile range of hot girls in Bloomington.

Like most female sports reporters, she's over-hyped based on her job. She's attractive in person, no doubt, but I'd agree with your percentile. Bloomington is good in that regard, especially relative to its size and the Midwest. I only reported it because people seem to care.

It's a different job than other top positions -- here, we care very deeply about class, ethics, playing the right way and recruiting our state. The position requires intangibles that others don't, but that doesn't mean it can't be filled correctly.

I want to change my arrogant/delusional fan base vote.

he's right. iu is a reputable school with a long and rich history of excellence in men's basketball. there's nothing wrong with saying it.

I don't want to harp on this too much because I don't think whoever posted it(slipping my mind at the moment) is delusional/arrogant, but the way it is phrased it is saying to me "our top coaching job is different than other top coaching jobs because we care about class and ethics here while the others don't. You have to not be a scumbag here unlike all those other places."

fair enough. i didn't really interpret it that way, but i can see how you could.

indiana has a pretty clean record as far as recruiting goes, under knight they graduated players and still managed to have a top 5 program, which is amazing. combining a top program with a clean one is quite a feat. as much as i hate indiana right now, i can't player-hate and deny the prestige of that job. plus, i can see the frustration of hoosier fans--they could have almost anyone they want and yet still choose to hire scumbags like sampson.

Well, not sure how many coaches IU could actually get (bet it's lower than most would like to think), but there's no doubt that coaches better than Sampson would come.

she's so beautiful...she could be a waitress....she's so beautiful...she could be a part-time model

haha. perfect timing.

in a field dominated by dickie vs and digger phelpses, she really stands out. I actually used to think she was really overrated, but she's grown on me. I generally go for a totally different type.

Hoping for a huge IU win tonight and also praying that this will be the last time I'll see Sampson on our sideline.

You keep winning and the administration will keep putting it off.

I don't think so. They are in CYA mode. If OSU hadn't been smacked down and forced to pay O'Brien a bunch of money, Sampson would already be gone.

I don't believe that for a second. O'Brien still hasn't seen a single penny from that settlement and according to many law experts, never will. The case is in appeal right now.

Lawyers and litigation are expensive. Also, between having to buy out Bob Knight, Cam Cameron, Mike Davis and Michael McNeeley (and McNeeley's underlings), plus more than four years of Athletic Department deficits under McNeeley and then Clapacs, I really don't think IU can afford to buy out Sampson or take the expense (and chance of losing) a wrongful termination case.

I was hoping Releford or Marcus Morris would sneak on that list. By all accounts, Morris in particular is blowing up this year. Some people still question how good Releford is, so maybe his absence isn't a surprise? illiniguy, you've seen him play, right? Thoughts? Edited by snoodmonger
