This is about the 10th time in this game where Bilas or Raftery have said, "that's really a tough call to make" which is essentially their way of saying "bad call"

I hate stuff like that. K complains about the call on his guy, the ref walks over, blocks his mouth with the basketball and talks to him about it. You'll see the same stuff with the other big name coaches. A Weber(or pretty much any Big 10 coach sans Izzo, maybe Tubby) wouldn't be extended the same courtesy.

In games like this where DMac plays like an 18 year old, we're gonna have to switch things up and play Brock at the 2. Jordan and Holdren flat out cannot be playing important minutes unless they improve a ton.

UCLA/MSU is a really fun game. Mbah a Moute with a huge 3 to give UCLA its 1st lead with 28.6 to play.

Re: Duke - Henderson and Nelson both looked good. Everyone else was kinda meh. Paulus is terrible.

He realized it was Mata-Real and decided to take the shot right there. All he had to do was go to the right and he likely would have had an open look.

Disappointing to hear Harden didn't look that great yesterday. I was hoping for more even if he was a great defensive team.

Brian Randle can shut down anyone and he took Harden out of the game. Illinois' athleticism is off the charts and they play some nasty d.

 

Harden needs to be more aggressive, but I'm withholding judgment for now.
