Owner Frank McCourt is "quite upset" with the Dodgers' performance down the stretch, according to a source close to the team. But while people in the front office are bracing for change, two Dodgers observers say they are fairly sure that GM Ned Colletti is "safe." However, Grady Little could still be in a little trouble, according to those people.

Nobody is predicting that Little will be fired yet, but if he is, Dusty Baker could be a candidate for the job. Baker, a longtime Dodgers player, managed the Giants when Colletti was in the front office there. Baker is also close to Jeff Kent, who has the ear of McCourt's wife, Jamie, the team's vice chairman and president, if the Dodgers do decide to make a change.

Probably not much to it other than sportswriter speculation, but still, please let this happen.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

They don't deserve they young talent they have.

The Dodgers faded in the stretch due to the alienation between the young players and the veterans. Grady Little can certainly be held responsible for that.

They should seriously promote Logan White and fire Colletti.

I'm sure Dusty would fix that right up... :P

Awesome, a team full of young players ready to bust out for Dusty to stifle. I propose a Loney for Craig Monroe swap this offseason.

You've been on the board long enough to know that there is no such thing as chemistry. Baseball is not a team sport, like basketball or football, etc., etc., etc....................

I think this is a very telling line, Kent is the leader of the anti-young guy thing in LA (specifically Ethier, Kemp and Loney). It sounded like Colletti and Little were really opposed to trading Kemp and this might indicate that McCourt will force them to trade him.

NSBB favorite Matt Kemp is on the verge of being run out of town. I say the Cubs buy low and ship them Henry Blanco.

Make it happen O_O.

Who do I look like, Jim Hendry?

I figured you had him trapped in that can since the Trax trade and had full control.

This may go down as the most epic waste of young impact talent since we managed to pull it off earlier in the decade. Too bad they don't have a young shortstop

That makes too much sense.

Shhhh...I'm going to delete this if you guys speak about this too loudly. Let sleeping dogs lie will you please!

You're right, I forgot about him. I'm sure Dusty would love to have Jacque Jones back on his team

I read somewhere over the Weekend that the Twins are going to possibly trade Johan Santana to the Dodgers for Kemp plus others. It was obviously just some sportswriters dream. However I think the Twins would be willing to make that kind of move, so Cubs better be willing to offer at least DLee.

My Dad's a Dodger fan so I will feel sorry for him. However, this is unbelievably hilarious. Colleti's idiocy knows no bounds. Hahaha, Colleti and Dusty in a franchise loaded with young talent. Hahahahah.

I've heard the rumors - they are asking for Kemp, LaRoche AND Kershaw. I'd tell the Twins to go jump off a cliff.
