Marlins spanking the Mets. I hate that team.

If the Marlins had any sort of starting pitching they would be really dangerous. That offense is ridiculous.

I really wanna punch every man, woman, and child waving those idiotic white flags in Milwaukee! :x

Rally towels, I mean, seriously! Maybe if you had of won the last two games that the Cubs left the door wide open for your team, you wouldn't be "rallying"!!

LOL, the Crew play by play tard was trying to suggest Froemming's bad call was poetic justice??

did he say poetic justice for what? Maybe all the lucky breaks the Cubs have been getting for the last 99 years?

SAFE!!!!

hahaha

Claudio vargas in to pitch?

wow, the brewers really are going all out.

of course im sure they can see the scoreboard so they know they have to.

They had Sheets up even. They need to spend every last bullet in their gun to get this win. Of course -- it's only Friday, how many of these bullets will they need on Saturday and Sunday even if they do win?

who the hell is Joe Nuxall? the best known baseball player in Cincy? ummm, i think not...

That's joe Nuxhall. Been a Reds' announcer for about 40 years after finishing his playing career with the Reds. Around Cincinnati, he's as well known as any of 'em.

yeah, i know full well who he is. i was being facetious. if you would have read my previous poists, my point is more about the absurdity of this Reds guy in the crowd/ Reds broadcast. as for Nux being the most famous Red? i still think not.

shall i display stats? ;)

Yes. I would most definitely like to see your stats on who is the most well known. That should be most informative.

see:

Bench, Morgan, Rose, etc. oh yeah...

So? Billy Williams is in the Hall of Fame and Ron Santo is not. Which one is more beloved and more known by Cubs fans? Santo, because of his announcing career. The same is the case for Nuxhall.

BTW, I believe Nuxhall will hold the record for the youngest player ever to play in a major league game for a long time. He was 15 when he got into a game in 1945.

fine. you win all the money. Joe Nuxhall is the most famous Cincinnati Reds player of all time.

Where's all those stats you promised us to refute that assertion ????

obviously you fail to recognize a 'dig' at your basis of 'opinion'.

i also provided a link to the Baseball HOF. perhaps you see popularity differently than I do. iz Nuxhall known anywhere outside Ohio? how popular is he in your opinion? the most famous Reds player?

:scoff: :/scoff:

It's apparently poetic justice for Cappy, who should be given a win.

apparently.

A gritty 0-5 day for Kendall

Not a single good AB, either. Wonder if he starts tomorrow?

Hopefully Blanco starts the next 2 days to rest the regulars (if the outcome in Mil is favorable)
