Haha. The Brewers are as bad as we are.

I feel much better than I did a few hours ago.

You have no idea!

Hahaha, could that have been ruled an error on Braun?

The way his night has been going, wouldn't surprise me.

I'm not sure I would rule it an error (I don't know the call) -- but other 3B would have fielded it cleanly.

And there's the difference between losing with a 2 game lead and losing when behind by 2. We're frollicking right now and Brewer fans at the game have about 40,000 chins in their hands. Sweet.

Is there anyway the winner of this division wins a game in the playoffs, because I don't see the Cubs scoring runs and I don't see the Brewers playing defense.

Someone forgot to tell the Brewers that we blew the division 8-)

I think I do. I was about to have a full blown episode. Of what, I don't know. But it wouldn't have been good.

Why on EARTH did the brewers manager for the day put Spurling in, with the season on the line? Why not Coco or Sheets (who was warming up) or even Linebrink? Why put one of your worst relievers in in that situation.

Thank god the Brewers have coaches even stupider than Dusty.

Still, we need to get our heads out of our asses QUICK. We can't keep counting on the Brewers to tank.

2 out of 3 in Cincinatti wins it. If we can't beat the Reds minus Dunn and Griffey, then we don't belong in the major leauges.

The Cubs had better cash these gifts in.

Lord help the Cubs if they ever get a competent manager and coaching staff.

I guess I'll go to bed in a slightly better mood for the second night in a row. Not that that makes the Cubs a better team.

I am hoping the last three days was a fluke and the Marlins are to us as we were to the Cardinals the last couple of years.

I think as a whole, Lou is pretty competent. I think he left his brain in Chicago for this Marlins series, but on the whole, I think he's competent.

On that particular comment, I think he was talking about the Brewers and how good they would be if only they had the right coaching.

I'm still stinging from the Marlins though guys. 10 losses in a row to these punks.

Eff that franchise and their crappy non-baseball stadium and their non-fans and their non-freaking-baseball team except for the 6 games per year they play us.

Freaking Fish.

I agree. I think he just forgot to take his Alzheimer's medicine or something the last three days

Doh, you are totally right, I misread it!

I admit I didn't feel good about the series even beforehand. They played the Mets tough, and they can really hit. My bad feeling got worse when I heard Trachsel was going to make a start.

This is true. But with the way Milw. is playing and the dogfight SD is in, I really believe 1 stinking win in Cincy gets us in the playoffs. And like St. Louis last year, maybe we'll play like we have nothing to lose and get hot again. The way I see it, we're due against other division teams, since we had a losing record against the East & West this year.
